Advertising agency ROORDA developed the Dutch central government public campaign Knalplanga 👓💥 to promote free protective glasses amongst youngsters when setting of fireworks during New Year’s Eve. In the campaign we used youth culture and music video content by partnering with Dutch hip-hop artist ‘Donnie’.

When the campaign took off it became immediately viral online. In the week prior to New Year’s Eve, I helped to push Donnie in front of the camera’s and mics of the Dutch TV and radio shows using my broadcast network and hustle skills. The Knalplanga 👓💥 became the hottest accessory to wear during NYE and the campaign a nationwide award winning succes.

We developed the message: Life is better when #youareyou. And we wanted the message not only apply to the Philips employees, but also for the entire world to know. That’s why we made an online video, following Marco telling how Philips embraced him to be his true self at work. 

In only 1 week we reached more than 1 million people in the Netherlands and numerous Philips employees worldwide, now even more proud working for Philips.

Ciran is a medical organisation for revalidation care. They treat people through a rebellious and innovative method, based on not only medical knowledge but also care for the spiritual, for wellbeing and for the surrounding of patients.

Agency DDB & Tribal Amsterdam came up with a beautiful narrative of balloons telling the story of the vulnerability and resilience of humans all situated in a forest. Director André from REVOLVER Amsterdam created a visual translation, using nature and the senses as guiding principles.

After working for many years in a chaotic corporate world, Liselotte Betist decided to put her inspiring mind and conscious heart into a business proposition as a burn-out and stress coach. 

The brief was to develop not only a fresh brand identity, but also a brand proposition that fits Liselotte's spiritual personality and attract her clients to take action.

In the design concept we included the ancient circumpunct awareness symbol in a smart way by using the characters O and i of the word mark. By adding the color turquoise we created associations with meanings of refreshing, serenity, wholeness, emotional balance and spiritual grounding. 

With using the strong tagline CHOOSE. CHANGE. CONTROL. we believe the brand image will not only inspire Liselotte's personal network, but also the stressed-out millennials generation as next clients to follow.

Hotelschool The Hague wanted to address it's Master Programme to hospitality leaders with a bachelor degree in service innovation. To proof it's success of the programme we shot a serie of three portraits of succesfull alumni who got ahead in the service industry. After seeing the films, interested students from all over the world registered for the webinar to meet the Masters of Hospitality and got inspired by their successful story. 

We shot the first one with Jason Berg who redesigned the city life in Amsterdam with 8 innovative bar concepts, the second with Erik Tengen, founder of Oaky and the third with Gaby Laudy, head of events of the Rijksmuseum.

Headroom makes it easy: TASKS. WORK. LIFE. With a team of virtual assistants for entrepreneurs. These Headroom assistants are no secretaries, but young business minded and well educated rockstar women. 

Headroom started 4 years ago with a start-up ambition and it was time to the image of the brand to match its leading position in The Netherlands, working for big start-up entrepreneurs and innovative and sustainable brands. The brief was to develop a new logo design, brand identity and website. 

They result was a clean, bright, airy, fun, professional and a less cartoony/geeky brand image. We used the same company color palette for both recognition and strength of the brand.

For the humorous Dutch dairy brand Melkunie, we created a both interactive and analogue pastoral playground. With Cow Bingo we offered Facebook fans the chance to have a memorable aesthetic experience with real cows in the field.

All cows were wearing a collar with an ID-chip that trigged a sensor as they passed the pasture's gate. Via an UMTS-Bridge and 3G-network, the Facebook-app was notified which cows left the field first; effectively allowing the cows themselves to make the draw. Via webcam, participants could watch LIVE each day at 16:00 to see if their cows were the first to leave.

Lowlands is the biggest music festival in The Netherlands. In 2012 all tickets to the festival sold out in less than two hours 8 months prior to the event! Main sponsor Grolsch decided to give away all their 200 sponsor tickets to the true Lowlands fans that were left disappointed.

With Grolsch Lowleaks we facilitated loads of pre festival fun on Facebook and with real live events for all the Lowlands fans combining with a fun way for ticketless fans in chance of winning a ticket.

The campaign name was spot on! With ‘Grolsch Lowleaks’, we created a strong connection between Grolsch, the sponsorship of the Lowlands music festival and the ticketless Lowlands fans that had a chance of winning a ticket by our ‘leaking festival tickets’ campaign mechanism.

Schiphol Amsterdam Airport connects people, especially during Christmas season when travelers are flying home to see their beloved ones. To bring the Christmas spirit even more to life, Schiphol wanted to raise money for UNICEF both offline and online through a campaign that adds this selfless value to their brand in a sympathetic way.

The Terminal

Schiphol Amsterdam Airport is a world on it's own and the ideal place for adventurous storytelling. The idea was to let someone eat, drink, sleep and raise money for UNICEF for a week at the airport in exchange for a plane ticket to see the family during Christmas; Flying home for Christmas! 

We found student Kimberley who collected donations at the airport from travlers. Online participants could join the campaign to give Kimberley a challenge in exchange of a donation.

Truphone is de first worldwide mobile operator for the business market. A local solution for international use of your smartphone with one tariff in 66 key countries. 

HUNT was asked to introduce this brand to the Dutch market within the boundaries of the existing REDEFINE mobile campaign.

The solution was adding new imagery to the campaign combining an alliterate line using both metropole international city and typical Dutch names like: 'In New York, the same tariff as in Nieuw-Vennep'

The integrated campaign existed of print ads, outdoor, radio spots, a TV tag-on, banners and an sales activation at the Dutch airports.

Winning the Ziggo Golden Seats is your golden ticket to a year long VIP treatment in concert hall Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam. In an online contest by television broadcast brand Ziggo, 50.000 participants had a chance of winning this unique price. We wanted to surprise the winner by delivering the Golden Seats literally to her doorstep. With two hidden cameras we captured her enthusiasm, which created sympathy for the winner and eased te pain a bit for all other participating Ziggo fans.

German Potato Chips brand Chio wanted to increase it's awareness in The Netherlands right before and during the FIFA 2014 World Cup in Brazil. The brief was to develop an on pack- promotion with a little Brazilian party online. To stay away from the orange fever clutter we came up with 'Stoelen Samba', an ongoing real time game based upon musical chairs!

A 3D rotating samba orchestra was the focal point of the campaign. When the music stopped a big red button became visible above the rotating orchestra. The first one that clicks was the winner of the current prize. Prizes were rotating every few minutes, ranging from snack packs to tickets to Rio de Janeiro in Brazil!

Citroën proudly present the DS3 Fab. A fashionable car well designed by the famous Dutch accessory designer Fabiënne Chapot. The promotion film was presented at the launching event, added to the PR kit and distributed both online and at dealers in order to address the story behind of the unique collaboration between Citroën and Fab.

Every year 5 commercials are shortlisted for the Gouden Loeki audience award. In 2013 the ‘Next level cow’ commercial of Melkunie was in the race to win this famous ‘Lion’ statuette. 

To get the audience excited to vote for this commercial we created a new funny piece of content instead of showing the same film everybody already had seen. We used wild life footage featuring a real cow in the hunt for a lion!

Everybody knows Panasonic sells great TV’s and camera’s. But Panasonic also produces a wide range of lesser known products. Many of these Panasonic products live and are used within the home. 

The Panasonic Social Home was a year round activation platform on Facebook for Panasonic Benelux to communicate the wide range of Panasonic Products. Participants good enter the Social Home for a chance to win en check out these latest  electronic products together with there friends.

At April Fools' Day dairy brand Melkunie announced on Facebook that luck seekers could buy it's new four-leaf clover flavored custard exclusively on Melkunie.nl. To Brand fans who did actually went to the website and were left a little bit disappointed, we gave them a chance in winning a cuddling day with real cows in the field to feel lucky after all!

Heritage messages have a great resonance with beer drinkers. Grolsch saw a huge opportunity to capitalize on a little-known fact: Grolsch has been brewing its beer since 1615; the longest continuous heritage in the Netherlands. Along side this interest, Grolsch was looking for a platform to strengthen consumer awareness around its sponsorship efforts in the Netherlands. 

Grolsch 1615 became a great way to address both briefs in one solution and it rested on a simple and elegant insight: the year 1615 has the same visual elements as the time of day 16:15. We leveraged this similarity and created a daily contest on Facebook where participants along with their friends could win tickets to Grolsch sponsored events each day at 16:15 in the afternoon. Further, we effectively claimed a Grolsch beer time.

Every summer Grolsch fans get a chance of winning a unique Grolsch gadget. The brief was to come up with a ongoing online activation that resonance with the running TV-campaign, starring a Dutch rock band both on stage and backstage.

We created a split-screen back stage experience around the Grolsch Cooler gadget filled with iconic Swingtop Bottles. Every hour participants were in chance of winning this gadget. For every participant an ice cube fel into the Grolsch Cooler. With a few participants the cooler was almost empty. At rush hour the cooler ran over with ice cubes everywhere. 

Every minute or so, something happened in the rock band's back stage area to keep peoples attention, turning this campaign in a real engagement guzzler.

There are many ways to open a swingtop bottle. In a series of six movies, Grolsch reveals the most complex ones by capturing the action in high speed recordings. The movies were shown in the Grolsch Swingtop Bar during music summer festivals like Lowlands, North Sea Jazz and Valtifest.

Starting my own business, I wanted a remarkeble business card that addresses both my hybrid and personal background. By adding some nifty little details about my ambition and how I look at things this piece of paper works as a vivid conversation starter.
